Our Purpose
The purpose of this non-profit social club, located in Durham, NC, is to enjoy and promote shag dancing and beach music. We have many fun-loving, friendly members.
We sponsor shagging on most of the 1st and 3rd Saturday nights at The Tavern behind Best Buy in New Hope Commons in Durham, 5504 Chapel Hill Blvd, Durham, NC 27707, phone (919) 493-5957.
Throughout the year we raise money for the Ronald McDonald House and also sponsor special events, including a spring fling, dance contest, and Christmas party. We also have several joint parties with other area shag clubs. Non-members are welcome.
